In other sporting development, Grand Bassa and Margibi have advanced to the semifinal of the 2021-2022 National County Sports Meet football category following wins over Grand Gedeh and Maryland counties respectively.
Bassa advanced following a 1- 0 win over Grand Gedeh while Mardibi trashed Maryland following a 5-4 penalty shootout over Maryland county after a full and extra time ended with a goal apiece.
Congratulations to both Grand Bassa and Margibi counties.
The last two semifinal spots in the 2021-2022 National County Sports Meet football edition were booked by Nimba and Gbarpolu counties.
Nimba reached the semifinal following a 4-1 win over Grand Cape Mount County while Gbarpolu dump River Cess 2-1 as well in reaching the semifinal.
