The Rap 2 Rep musical competition is a competition organized by icampus, Accountability Lab Liberia and iLab Liberia in partnership with USAID Liberia Accountability & Voice Initiative (LAVI). This year marks its fourth-anniversary celebration Supporting Liberian Artists and those upcoming ones.
Rap 2 Rep is a first-of-its-kind music competition searching for promising first-time Liberian hip-co music artists who support greater public representation and good governance. The competition is growing and since 2016 it has become a network of musicians, filmmakers, DJs and media professionals who are making change through their songs.
The initiative is also set to empower young Liberian promoting peacebuilding, using music to promote learning tourism and development and useful tips for lyrics creation, stage performance, and branding.
The activity is part of iCampus’ capacity to support Liberian artists in general.
As can been seen on the 14 of August icampus tweeted that the final for this event is going to take place over this weekend.
Today marks the final of this Electoral Reforms Musical Awareness competition. If you can make your way there please do so to support this movement see the venue on the flyer.
